Your sprocket

Stamped on the chain's link plates, e.g. 08B-1. ISO 606 B-series, simplex.
Count them. ISO 606 covers 9 to 150. Its preferred counts:
Material, lightening holes & cut process S275 or hardened wear plate. Round lightening holes on large sprockets, where the web stays stronger than the chain. S275 · no holes · auto

No chain to read?

Measure the old sprocket across two opposite tooth tips and count its teeth. The generator tells you which chain it takes.

What you get

  • A cut-ready DXF: the ISO 606 tooth as true arcs, with an over-pins check and the plate you need, printed on the file.
  • A STEP solid at the ISO tooth width, for your CAD.
  • The plate to buy and the band to grind it to.

Why this one is different

  • 1Starts from the chain in your handChain number and tooth count. No pitch tables. No chain to read? Measure an old sprocket and it identifies the chain.
  • 2The ISO 606 tooth, drawn exactlySeat, flanks and tips are true arcs worked from the standard's own formulas, in the middle of its tolerance band. No splines, no polylines: the DXF runs on an old G-code control as it is.
  • 3A check you can measureEvery file carries the over-pins dimension and its ISO tolerance. A thermal cut is not guaranteed to it, so the part proves itself on the bench.
  • 4Plate you can actually buyThe file names the stock plate, the EN 10029 class that guarantees it, the band to grind both faces into and the flatness. Hardened wear plate is waterjet only, because a laser softens the flank the roller wears on.
  • 5Lightening holes, checkedOn large sprockets, round holes are offered only where our finite-element check shows the lightened web is stronger than the chain that drives it.
  • 6Says no, and says whyIf a sprocket cannot be cut, you are told which input to change and what to change it to.
  • 7Free, no sign-upDXF and STEP.

How are these checked? The methods, the validation and what we deliberately do not claim, for gears and sprockets alike.

Driving it?

The same forge generates spur gears rated to ISO 6336, and weld-on and bolt-on tabs with FEA-checked drawings.

MAKANIK FORGE · engineered to outlast. Sprocket geometry to ISO 606:2015 clause 5 with the stated declarations. No drive rating is given: in a roller-chain drive the chain governs; use your chain maker's rating table. Not a substitute for checking your own application.
